Network Update
Arbitrum Joins Global Dollar Network, Adding USDG as the Default Dollar for Its DeFi Ecosystem

Arbitrum has joined Global Dollar Network as a Network partner, and Global Dollar (USDG) is now natively issued on Arbitrum One.
USDG is set to become the default dollar across Arbitrum's DeFi ecosystem, from liquidity and lending markets to derivatives collateral and institutional settlement.
Arbitrum Powers the Programmable Economy
Arbitrum One has processed nearly 3 billion transactions across almost 90 million addresses, with more than 193,000 verified contracts deployed.
That activity is concentrated in the exact markets where a regulated dollar matters most, bringing trusted settlement to onchain assets. Aave, GMX, and Pendle all run mature deployments there, spanning lending, perpetuals and fixed-rate yield.
Arbitrum's technology reaches well past Arbitrum One. When Robinhood launched its own chain July 2026, it chose to build on Arbitrum's stack. One of the largest consumer fintechs in the US is running its onchain infrastructure on Arbitrum technology, also leveraging USDG as a regulated natively-issued stablecoin.
One Dollar Across Your Financial Stack
Businesses building on Arbitrum can integrate USDG in a number of ways:
Earn: Access USDG earning opportunities across the Arbitrum ecosystem, through eligible vaults or embedded directly in your own product.
Trading and collateral: Use USDG as margin for perpetual markets and market-making subaccounts or as a collateral and borrowing asset across money markets.
Markets and settlement: Use USDG as a quote and settlement currency across spot and perpetual markets, DEX pools, and supported RWA issuance, minting and redemption flows.
Treasury and payments: Hold reserve balances, collect protocol fees, distribute grants, manage payroll and support merchant settlement and cross-border transfers in USDG.
The Economics
Most stablecoin economics never make it past the issuer, while Global Dollar Network was built to share them with the businesses that grow stablecoin adoption.
As a Network partner, Arbitrum now participates in those economics directly. Eligible businesses building on Arbitrum can partner with the foundation and receive rewards based on the USDG activity they contribute.
A Regulated Digital Dollar
USDG is issued by Paxos Digital Singapore, a Major Payments Institution supervised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and by Paxos Issuance Europe under FIN-FSA supervision in compliance with MiCA.
It is fully redeemable from Paxos one-to-one for US dollars, with reserves held in cash and cash equivalents in segregated accounts and monthly reserve reports published for every Paxos-issued stablecoin.
Oversight in two major jurisdictions is rare among stablecoins at this scale.
Global Dollar Network Now 150+ Partners Strong
Alongside Arbitrum One, USDG is also live on Ethereum, Ink, Mantle, Robinhood Chain, Solana and X Layer. With more than 150 partners and over $3 billion of USDG in circulation, Arbitrum joins a network built to share its growth with those building on it.
